Key leader Quits BJP in Telangana Ex-MLA Yennem Srinivas Reddy resigned from BJP on Monday. He' was elected as MLA on BJP ticket in a by-election following the death of Rajeshwar Reddy in 2012. As per political circles the differences with state party president Kishan Reddy forced' Yennem Srinivas Reddy to left the party. He had been keeping himself away from the party for some time and finally he announced his resignation. Speaking on the occasion, he said both Congress and BJP have failed to play their role as effective opposition parties.
Yennem along with other BJP leader Nagam Janardhan Reddy have launched an independent forum "Bachoa Telangana" (Save Telangana) and protesting against TRS government. Kishan Reddy has been opposing Bachao Telangana forum and this didn't goes well with Yennam. Kishan Reddy was deliberately neglecting Yennam from few months' and not even informing about the party activists. Angered at this, Yennem decided to quit BJP.Yennam contested in 2014 elections and lost to the TRS candidate V. Srinivas Goud. Yennem Srinivas Reddy was one of the key leader for BJP in the district. He may soon join TRS.
