Class IX Student delivers baby in School washroom in Hyd
In a shocking incident, a Class IX student of the government high school in Chandanagar Tanda in Madhapur has given birth to a baby girl in the school toilet . What more shocking is either the girl or her parents or school teachers were not aware about the pregnancy. The girl who complained about stomach pain in class room accompanied by her teacher to bathroom. To utter shock of everybody, the girl delivered a baby girl in the washroom. The school authorities informed the parents, who took had no idea of how she became pregnant.
The girl lives along with her father who is a widower and the girl's father said that he did not know about her pregnancy.On being questioned about the pregnancy, the 14-year-old girl said she did not know about it either.
She also that she suspected a man called Dinesh as the reason behind her pregnancy. It is said that the man who is yet to be identified by the police- has been dropping her to school every day for a long time.
The district education officer has ordered a probe and suspends the school headmaster and issued notices to all the staff members.The Madhapur government high school is located very much amidst the most advanced society of Hitech City in Hyderabad.
The incident came as a glaring example of carelessness of teachers and administration at government schools. Until the teacher who took her to bathroom and was waiting outside heard the cries of the newborn, no one including the girl knows it was a delivery. The teachers said she used to cover the stomach with a scarf and while sitting on the bench, used to keep the bag in front of her.
One Dhanu or Dinesh, who had been accompanying the girl to school and back, is suspected to have impregnated the girl. The baby was handed over to some other family for care taking. The mother and baby are healthy.The police are investigating and searching for the suspect Dhanu
