ICAR-Industry meet on Saturday Hyderabad, Dec 4 (INN): The Indian Institute of Rice Research, Hyderabad is organising an ICAR-Industry meet at its premises on Saturday to display of technologies and services and to commercialise the viable technologies related to crop husbandry. The ICAR institutes IIRR, IIMR, IIOR, IISR, IARI IIRM, and NRRI are participating in this event to commercialise their technologies, informed V. Ravindra Babu, Director- IIRR.
As a part of the ICAR initiative for the commercialization of innovations, inventions and research findings of research institutes under ICAR, it is our endeavour to forge public-private partnership in the field of Indian agriculture in general and rice production in particular.
The main objective of the meet is to display technologies and services offered by the crop husbandry institutes of ICAR. Dr. Jeet Singh Sandhu, Deputy Director General (Crop Sciences) from ICAR Hqrs, New Delhi will be the Chief Guest. The Directors of different crop sciences institute will take active part in this event. Captains from agro-input industries, rice processing industries value added products market executives and selected agripreneurs will take part in this event. This meet will help the entrepreneurs to identify the commercially viable technologies from ICAR for further up scaling and marketing it.
