KTR denies charges of luring opposition legislators Hyderabad, Dec 4 (INN): Panchayat Raj Minister K. Tarakarama Rao on Friday denied allegations that the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi was luring legislators of opposition parties with money and posts.
Speaking to media persons here, KTR said that the TRS did not lure any MLA or MLC and all of them have joined the ruling party as they were impressed with the vision and performance of Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao on development of Telangana. He said none of the legislators who joined TRS were offered money or posts. He claimed that the TRS never indulged in such practices.
Dismissing all allegations, he said opposition parties were trying to malign the image of Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao by leveling baseless allegations.
