Ruling TRS Announces MLC Candidates For Seven Seats
The TRS on Sunday finalized its candidates for three local body MLC seats. TRS has announced the names of three candidates who would be contesting the upcoming MLC elections. TRS leader K. Keshava Rao announced the names. From Khammam Balasani Lakshmi Narayana will be contesting on TRS ticket. Party MP K Kesva Rao announced the list of candidates and expressed confidence on winning all the seats.
TRS is in a majority in the 28-member House as on date. Ranga Reddy, Mahbubnagar and Karimnagar will have two MLCs each, while the other six districts ' Adilabad, Nizamabad, Medak, Warangal, Khammam and Nalgonda ' will have one each.
Due to sizeable presence of ZPTCs, MPTCs and councillors the Congress may bag one seat each from Mahbubnagar and Ranga Reddy districts. December 9 is the last date for filing nominations and the party has to select candidates for the remaining seats.
