KCR luring opposition leaders, alleges Naidu Hyderabad, Dec 6 (INN): Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and TDP chief N. Chandrababu Naidu on Sunday accused his Telangana counterpart K. Chandrashekar Rao of luring leaders of opposition parties into the Telangana Rashtra Samithi with money.
Addressing a meeting of TDP leaders from Greater Hyderabad at his residence here, Naidu said KCR's actions of luring opposition legislators and leaders were like insulting common people. He advised party leaders to ignore the defectors and focus on winning forthcoming GHMC elections. He said that the TDP leaders and workers should have better coordination with the BJP to ensure that that the alliance captures the post of GHMC Mayor.
The meeting was attended by TDP Greater Hyderabad president Maganti Gopinath, Ranga Reddy District President Prakash Goud, Rajya Sabha MP Mohan Rao and others.
Naidu claimed that the defection by some leaders would not have an impact on party's prospects in GHMC elections.
