Shame: 28 Days Old Infant allegedly Raped by Man
This ghastly incident proves the state of women in our society. Let alone walk on the roads safely, girls are unsafe even before they walk.An infant who was just 28 days old was allegedly raped by a 25-year-old man in village Asif Nagla, UP.
As per the girl's parents the incident took place yesterday when they had gone to cast their vote for Gram Pradhan elections.The parents of the girl have alleged that a man broke into their house and raped their daughter they were out voting.
It was reported that the infant was profusely bleeding and taken to government hospital by the parents where doctors seeing her condition referred to higher care centre.A case has been filed against accused Navin Jatav under section 376 (rape) of the Indian Penal Code. Police, however, have said there are several inconsistencies in the statements given by the parents and that rape has not been established yet.
Police also suspect it to be a case of vendetta since the accused and the complainants belong to rival political factions in the ongoing panchayat polls.
