Raped by over 10 men every day for 6 months, 18-year-old critical
In a shocking incident, an 18-year-old is has been sexually assaulted by different men for a period of six months. The girl is now battling for her life at a hospital in Delhi after suffering severe injuries.
The 18-year-old has been admitted into the hospital by a person at Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital with severe injuries all over her body, as well as infections. The person who admitted her to the hospital has reportedly disappeared.
The victim has been trafficked from West Bengal last year and has been taken to places like Rishikesh, Haridwar, Manali and Mangalore and she was sexually attacked by several men. The girl lies in a critical state, unable to make use of her lower limbs.The girl, who was trafficked from West Bengal a year ago, claimed she was sexually assaulted over 10 times in a day by different men over the last six months
A NGO, Shakti Vahini had received the information about the girl's trafficking but they were not able to locate her despite all efforts. It was on Monday that Kolkata Police informed the NGO that she was admitted at uru Teg Bahadur Hospital.The Kolkata police are on way to Delhi to bring back victim and record her statement.
