KCR To Visit Vijayawada THIS Weekend If the buzz emerging from political circles is to be believed, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao once heading to Vijayawada. KCR who visited Andhra for Amarvati Bhoomi Puja during Dussehra is likely to visit Vijayawada this weekend.
Its known that CM is planning to perform Ayuta Maha Chandi Yagam from December 23 to 27 as a thanksgiving gesture to Goddess Chandi for granting the wish for a separate Telangana state. KCR will go to Vijayawada and invite his AP counterpart, Chandrababu Naidu to Ayutha Chandi Yagam
There are reports that KCR may also go to Kanaka Durga Temple in his visit to Vijayawada. KCR had taken a vow that he would present a nose stud if separate Telangana was formed.
Meanwhile, preparations for the Ayuta Maha Chandi Yagam began at KCR's farm house.KCR has invited President Pranab Mukherjee and Prime Minister Narendra Modi to participate in the Yagam.
Rao will also invite Chief Ministers of other states. Several pontiffs and other VIPs too would attend the Yagam. According to estimates, the Yagam would cost around Rs 3 crore. It is for the second time that Ayuta Maha Chandi Yagam is being performed in South India. Earlier, the Sringeri Peetham conducted the yagam in 2011.
