Vijayarama Rao all set to join TRS
Hyderabad, Dec 12 (INN): Former minister and TDP senior leader K Vijayarama Rao is all set to join the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) . He has resigned from the TDP on Friday.
Panchayat Raj Minister K. Tarakarama Rao called on Vijayarama Rao on Saturday and formally invited him to join the party. Speaking to media persons later, KTR said that the new State of Telangana needs services of experienced personalities like Vijayarama Rao. He said that the former CBI chief could help the State Government with his suggestions on crucial issues.
Vijayarama Rao said he would take a final call on joining TRS after meeting Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao in the next two days.
According to sources, the TRS has promised Vijayarama Rao's daughter Annapurna a respectable position in the party.
