Congress MLA slams KCR for delay in SC categorisation
Hyderabad, Dec 13 (INN): Congress MLA A. Sampath Kumar on Sunday accused Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao of deliberately delaying the process of categorisation of Scheduled Castes in Telangana State.
Speaking to media persons in Assembly premises, Sampath Kumar said that KCR, during elections, had promised to take up categorisation of SCs. However, even after 18 months in power, the Chief Minister did not convene an all party meeting on the issue and did not send any delegation to the Central Government. He said KCR has been delaying decision on important issues while spending most of his time at his farm house.
Sampath Kumar said that the TRS Government would soon face the wrath of Madiga community if categorisation gets delayed further.
