RR Congress leaders will not follow Danam: Sudheer Reddy Hyderabad, Dec 15 (INN): Former MLA D. Sudheer Reddy on Tuesday made it clear that the Ranga Reddy District Congress would not follow Greater Hyderabad Congress president Danam Nagender in the forthcoming GHMC elections.
Speaking to media persons here, Sudheer Reddy said that the Ranga Reddy DCC would finalise and implement its own plan to contest 50 GHMC seats in Ranga Reddy district in the forthcoming elections. He said that Danam could implement his plan for remaining 100 seats and Ranga Reddy DCC would not allow his interference in 50 others seats in the district.
Stating that the Congress party would win more than 50 seats in the forthcoming GHMC elections, Sudheer Reddy ridiculed Irrigation Minister T. Harish Rao's statement that the Congress would not win even two seats. He said a cold war was going on between Harish Rao and Panchayat Raj Minister K. Tarakarama Rao after Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao sidelined Harish. He said Harish Rao has been making statements against the Congress party only to get KCR's attention.
He also slammed KCR for encouraging defections in opposition parties and said that the defectors would create more problems for KCR in near future.
