AP Assembly session to begin on Thursday Hyderabad, Dec 16 (INN): The winter session of Andhra Pradesh State Legislative Assembly will begin on Thursday.
The session, which will last till December 22, is likely to be stormy as the main opposition YSR Congress Party is planning to pull up the government on the Call Money Sex Racket. The issue of illegal bauxite mining, deaths to spurious liquor, flood situation and other issues too would be discussed during the session.
The Business Advisory Committee of AP Assembly would meet at 8.45 AM under the chairmanship of Speaker Dr. Kodela Shiva Prasad Rao to finalise the agenda.
Meanwhile, the Andhra Pradesh Cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, met in Vijayawada on Wednesday to finalise the strategy for the Assembly session. Naidu asked his cabinet colleagues to get prepared to give effective counter to opposition's criticism.
