MLA Roja Suspended for One Year from AP Assembly AP Speaker Kodela Siva Prasad Rao suspended YCP MLA Roja for 1 Year from AP Assembly for making derogatory comments against Andhra Pradesh chief minister Nara Chandrababu naidu.
Assembly affairs Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu passed a resolution to suspend Nagari MLA Roja for one year, for which speaker Kodela gave his approval. The house adopted the resolution with voice vote. Later speaker Kodela asked Roja to leave the house.
Opposition leader Jagan tried to intervene in the matter but the speaker did not allow him stating it was the decision of the House and it was final.Earlier in the day Roja made scathing remarks against the CM, blaming him squarely for the call money and sex scandal case. She alleged that the CM was trying to escape discussion on the matter by raising Ambedkar issue.
Roja rushing to the CM seat is said to have used unparliamentarily language. She reportedly termed Chief Minister as 'Kama Chandrababu, Call Chandrababu and Scam Chandrababu'.
The YSR Congress MLA was known to be very vocal in AP Assembly and on several occasions, was warned for unparliamentarily language in the house even in the previous sessions. YSRCP Leaders including Jagan Fires and raises anti-slogan about Decision.
This is not the first time a leader was suspended from house for a year. Previously former TDP MLA, Karanam Balaram was suspended for one year from the house for criticizing the Speaker during the Congress regime.
