TDP MLA'S Car catches Fire In AP Assembly
Polavaram TDP MLA Mudiyam Srinivas had a miraculous escape on Friday. Srinivas Rao's car caught fire on Friday evening at Andhra Pradesh Assembly premises. The MLA along with his gunmen and personal staff boarded the car after the Assembly session ended late on Friday. Suddenly they observed smoke coming out from engine and got down from the vehicle.
The fire started from within the car engine but quickly engulfed a large portion of the car..Tension prevailed at the spot and heavy deployment of police in the Assembly premises helped in putting out the flames and restoring order. The car was completely burnt though fire engines were rushed into service.
However, MLA and his driver escaped unhurt as they managed to got down from the car. Police officials are investigating the cause of fire but prima facie it appears a short circuit might have caused the fire.
