Orientation programme for minority students launched Hyderabad, Dec 22 (INN): An Orientation Programme was inaugurated on Tuesday at Urdu Maskan, Moti Galli in the Old City under the aegis of the Telangana Study Circle for the benefit of the Minority students for the Competitive Exams for Group I, Group II, Sub Inspector and other Police Recruitments.
The Telangana State Minorities Study Circle established under the Minorities Welfare Department, Government of Telangana.
Charminar MLA Syed Ahmed pasha Quadri, while inaugurating the Programme, advised the students to study with dedication and work hard to achieve the goals in the life. He said that his party has been demanding conduct of such programmes since long. He said that he would look for a suitable place in his constituency for starting such programmes.. He said that there were several precious gems among minorities, who if selected, would prove an asset for the nation.
Minorities Welfare Department Secretary Syed Omer Jaleel advised the students to work hard and make attempts to get selected for various posts which were being announced by the Government. He advised the students that the Minorities should come out of the inferiority complex. The Government would very shortly announce recruitment of over one lakh posts, out of which 50% posts would be in open category. He announced that the Government would open 10 more such centres in the city besides opening coaching centres for SSC students at several places. Physical education would be given to the candidates for Police recruitment.
Minorities Welfare Department Director Mohammed Jalaluddin Akber, State Haj Committee Special Officer Prof. S. A. Shukoor, Study Circle Director D. Neeraja and other officials were also present.
