'Ayutha Maha Chandi Yagam' concludes Hyderabad, Dec 27 (INN): Five-day long 'Ayutha Maha Chandi Yagam', conducted by Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao at his farm house in Erravelli of Medak district, concluded here on Sunday evening.
The Chief Minister will stay at the location on Sunday night and he, along with his family members, will proceed to Narasimha Swamy Temple in Vemulavada on Monday morning to offer special pooja.
Several eminent personalities including Governor ESL Narasimhan and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister participated in the Yagnam on the last day on Sunday. Naidu was accompanied with Deputy CM K.E. Krishna Moorthy, Minister G. Srinivas, Union Minister Sujana Chowdhary and other leaders. They were received by Telangana Ministers T. Harish Rao and Indrakaran Reddy.
Although President of India Pranab Mukherjee was scheduled to participate in the Yagam today, his visit was cancelled reportedly due to a minor fire accident at the venue. The fire accident occurred a few minutes before the President's helicopter was about to land at the Yagnam site.
