Better health facilities for government servants: KTR Hyderabad, Dec 29 (INN): Panchayat Raj Minister K. Tarakarama Rao admitted of certain discrepancies in implementation of Health Cards for government employees.
Speaking after releasing the 2016 Diary of Telangana Gazetted Officers Association at Ravindra Bharathi here on Tuesday, KTR said that the employees were unable to get treatment in many corporate hospitals using Health Cards provided by the State Government. However, he assured to take steps to remove all the discrepancies.
KTR said the government employees have played a major role in formation of Telangana State and TRS Government would ensure that their welfare. He said steps were also being taken to bring back Telangana employees working in Andhra Pradesh. He said those employees would be accommodated through Super Numery posts.
The minister said that the government would soon issue orders for the implementation of PRC. He asked the government employees to trust and support the government.
The event was also addressed by Legislative Council chairman Swamy Goud, Ministers Eatala Rajender and T. Padma Rao and MLA Srinivas Goud.
