KCR gives nod for teachers, police recruitments Hyderabad, Dec 31 (INN): As a New Year's gift, Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao has given nod to fill teachers' and police jobs. He also directed the officials to initiate the process of regularising the services of contract and outsourcing employees.
The Chief Minister on Thursday held a high-level review meeting with the ministers and senior officials at the State Secretariat. Deputy Chief Minister Kadiyam Srihari, Ministers Eatala Rajender and Lakshma Reddy, Chief Secretary Dr. Rajiv Sharma, Finance Department Special Secretary Pradeep Chandra, DGP Anurag Sharma and senior officials of different departments participated in the meeting.
During the meeting, KCR pointed out that during the statehood movement TRS has promised to regularise the services of outsourcing and contract employees. Therefore, he directed the heads of all departments to furnish the list of such employees by January 2 to enable the State Cabinet to discuss the issue. He said after the regularisation of existing contract employees, the State Government would completely weed out the system of contract employees. He said pay for Outsourcing and Hand Holding workers should be increased.
The Chief Minister has directed the officials to issue notification to fill 9,000 vacancies of constables. Further, he said vacancies of teachers and other posts in government schools should be filled. About 15,000 to 20,000 teachers' posts will be filled through DSC.
KCR also directed the officials to take action on the grievances submitted by the people during his visits to different parts of the State.
