TRS government's New Year Gift for GHMC householders
Telangana Government as New Year's sop has announced property tax reduction for GHMC residents on the occasion of New Year. The TRS government which was eying on GHMC elections has cut the Property Tax to Rs.101 from Rs.1, 200 for the residents come under the GHMC limits
Municipal Administration and Urban development Department has issued this G.O.MS.No.208 regarding GHMC (Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation) Property Tax reduction
According to GO the house owners in the limits of GHMC will have to pay Rs.101 instead of 1,200. The move comes ahead of GHMC elections and it can be seen as Party's step to attract the voters. TRS earlier waived off water and power dues to woo the city voters. Stressing on the need to curb illegal constructions, KCR directed the GHMC officials to work out a strategy to stop unauthorised constructions.
