Panel to review Roja's suspension
Hyderabad, Jan 2 (INN): Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly Speaker Dr. Kodela Siva Prasad Rao on Saturday constituted a committee to review the suspension of YSR Congress Party MLA Roja.
The committee will be headed by Deputy Speaker Budha Prasad. Representatives of three political parties have been included in the committee. They are Shravan Kumar (TDP), Srikanth Reddy (YSRCP) and Vishnu Kumar Raju (BJP). The Speaker has asked the committee to submit its report within 20 days.
It may be mentioned that Roja was suspended from the House for one year for allegedly making some objectionable remarks against Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu during the recently concluded monsoon session.
