Explain the spirit of JBMV in Grama Sabhas: Naidu Hyderabad, Jan 3 (INN): Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu directed the state administration to explain the spirit and purpose of the government's intensified campaign of 'Janmabhoomi ' Ma Vooru' in the Grama Sabhas.
Following the launch of the third phase of 'Janmabhoomi ' Ma Vooru' in Vizianagaram district on Saturday, the Chief Minister held a teleconference to review the campaign.
He asked the district administration to ensure the attendance to Grama Sabhas is high. 'The Grama Sabhas must focus on the welfare schemes while understanding ways for the development and work towards skill up gradation, he added.
In this regard, he directed the district administration not to hesitate to take disciplinary action against the Janmabhoomi committees that do not perform satisfactorily. He asked the district collectors, minister and the in charge minister to hold a daily review to overcome mistakes highlighted.
In view with the Chief Minister's vision to drought-proof the state, the district collectors said that they will finish digging up farm ponds in the next three months. They also informed the Chief Minister that the selection of beneficiaries for Indiramma and NTR housing is going on without hiccups. Selection of beneficiaries for new ration cards and Deepam scheme is also underway, they said.
Ministers, Chief Secretary IYR Krishna Rao, Advisor (Communications) Dr. Parakala Prabhakar, district collectors, state officials and others were present.
