TDP Lost Senior Leader Officially To TRS The Telugu Desam Party in Telangana received another jolt. The party has now officially lost another leader to TRS.Former CBI chief; Senior leader and ex-minister K.Vijayrama Rao formally joined the TRS on Sunday in the presence of K. Chandrasekhar Rao. KCR welcomed him and felicitated him with a shawl.
From few days rumours were rife about Vijayarama rao's entry to TRS. Information Technology Minister and Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao's son K.T. Rama Rao called on Mr. Vijayarama Rao and invited him to join the party.
This prompted TDP Chief Chandrababu to jump into action and try and pacify the ex-minister to stay with the TDP. Those efforts however did not seem to produce the desired results.
Having been elected from Khairtabad constituency during the earlier TDP rule in the earstwhile Andhra Pradesh, K Vijayarama Rao was seen as a senior pillar in the TDP. Sources said the TRS leadership had indicated at accommodating Vijayarama Rao's daughter Annapurna by giving her a suitable position in the party.
