Hyd Couple Kills 2 Twin Daughters before Committing Suicide
A couple from Hyderabad allegedly committed suicide after killing their two twin daughters. The gruesome incident took place in Sitaramnagar under Habibnagar police limits on Monday.Rajiv and Radhika were married five years ago and were staying in a family portion with their twin daughters Megha and Meghana.
Rajiv and his wife Radhika initially killed their 15-months-old twin babies Megha and Meghana by offering them to have poison-laced milk and later ended their lives by hanging themselves to the ceiling fan at their home last night.
The couple would live with Rajiv's mother in the daytime and use another house only to sleep in the night. It was just the same routine for the family on Sunday night. But when they did not turn up as usual on Monday morning, the man's mother knocked the door and found no response. With the help of neighbors they broke open the door to find all the four dead.
Though no suicide note was found, it is suspected that some family problems drove Rajiv and his family members to resort to the extreme step.Police registered a case under relevant Section of IPC and were further investigating.Rajiv was running a scrap shop, but closed it after the premises was demolished in road-widening sometime back.
