Kavitha asks Dattatraya to get Rs. 20,000 Cr package for TS
Hyderabad, Jan 4 (INN): TRS MPs K. Kavitha on Monday promised to vote for BJP if Union Minister Bandaru Dattatraya and Telangana BJP President G. Kishan Reddy gets Rs. 20,000 Crore package for the State from the Central Government.
Addresing a meeting of TRS workers of Khairtabad Assembly segment here, Kavitha said that both Dattatraya and Kishan Reddy should use their influence to get Rs. 20,000 crore package for Telangana from the BJP-led NDA Government at the Centre.
Kavitha said a majority of people living in Khairtabad Assembly segment was poor and therefore, the State Government would regularise their land. Criticising AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, she said that although Naidu claims to have established Hitech City, his government did nothing to improve the drainage system in the city.
She also claimed that Chief Minster K. Chandrashekar Rao has a lot of respect for women and strongly advocates their political empowerment. Therefore, she claimed that the State Government has reserved 50% of seats for women in the forthcoming GHMC elections
