15 'No Selfie Zones' Identified By Cops
We have seen people going to crazy extent for a selfie and it proved dangerous many times. Recently a girl lost her life when she along with friends were clicking selfies standing on a rock next to the fort close to Bandra Worli Sea Link .
The girl died in a freak mishap at the Bandra Fort while she was attempting to click a selfie with her friend. Both the girls lost balance and fell into the sea after a wave hit them from behind. A man who tried to save them also lost his life but managed to save one of the two girls. After the Mumbai selfie mishap, the Mumbai police today identified 15 dangerous selfie spots across the city.
Bandra Fort, Marine Drive, Girgaum Chowpati beach, Bandra Bandstand, Sion Fort and Worli Fort ' were among the 15 places declared as the 'No Selfie Zones'. Police officers patrolling the selected areas have been briefed to warn people against taking selfies. Boards saying 'No Selfie Zones' were earlier put up by the Maharashtra government in Nashik to avoid stampede in the Kumbh Mela.
