BJP-TDP combine to give Dy. Mayor's post to Andhriate
BJP floor leader Dr. K. Lakshman announced that the TDP-BJP combine has decided to reserve the post of Deputy Mayor for a person of Seemandhra origin in case their alliance wins the GHMC elections.
Speaking to media persons here on Monday, Lakshman said that the voters hailing from Seemandhra region would play a decisive role in the GHMC elections. Therefore, he said that the BJP-TDP combine has decided to give Deputy Mayor's post to instill confidence among them. He said that a massive public meeting was being organised at Nizam College Grounds on January 12. Further, he said that the TDP-BJP combine would release its manifesto for GHMC Elections on January 13.
Earlier, he reviewed the arrangements for the public meeting at Nizam College Grounds. TDP leaders L. Ramana and Errabelli Dayakar Rao were also present on the occasion.
