NHIA reduces toll tax at Manoharabad Hyderabad, Jan 13 (INN): Following request from Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao, the National Highway Authorities of India has agreed to reduce toll tax at Manoharabad (Toopran).
Presently, Rs. 125 is being collected for one way while Rs. 180 is a two-way toll for cars, jeeps, vans and other light motor vehicles. The common people were facing inconvenience in paying the toll tax. Therefore, the State Government approached the NHIA requesting it to reduce the toll tax. Responding positively, the NHIA has reduced the toll tax to Rs. 70 for one way and Rs. 105 for up and down travel.
