1097 candidates file nominations for GHMC polls
Hyderabad, Jan 16 (INN): A total of 1097 candidates filed their nomination papers for the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation elections on the third day on Saturday.
Among those who filed their nomination papers are TRS - 277, Congress - 200, AIMIM - 27, TDP - 181, BJP - 93, BSP - 17, CPI - 14, CPM - 8, YSRCP - 1, Lok Satta - 12, Independents - 18 and 249 other candidates.
Sunday will be the last day for filing of nominations for GHMC elections.
