Yuvraj's Fastest 50 Record Equalled
West Indies cricketer Chris Gayle who was in news for all wrong reasons from past few days is back to track again. The strong Gayle force winds hit Etihad Stadium on Monday night.He scored record fifty runs in the ongoing Big Bash T20 league.
Chris Gayle has scored 50 from just 12 deliveries and he equalled the record set by Yuvraj Singh against England in Durban in 2007.Gayle scored seven mixers and a boundary. He pulverised the Adelaide Strikers' bowlers to all corners of Etihad Stadium.Chris Gayle has equalled the world record for the fastest Twenty20 half century.
Gayle's innings also rewrote several records. He smashed the previous record for the fastest Big Bash League 50 ' 18 deliveries which was jointly held by Tim Ludeman and Chris Lynn.However Gayle was dismissed for 56 from 17 deliveries.
Gayle already holds the record for the fastest Twenty20 century, scoring 100 from an incredible 30 deliveries for Royal Challengers Bangalore against Pune Warriors in 2013.
