Jayaram as Special Representative of AP Govt
Govt of Andhra Pradesh has appointed Jayaram Komati, USA as Special Representative, Govt of AP for North America with immediate effect. With this, he is expected to carry out liaison, coordination, facilitation, and assistanceto Govt Officials, Dignitaries visiting North America and also work for mobilizing financial, technical, human recourse expertise from North America for the economic and cultural development of AP State.
Jayram Komati, a resident of California state, has businesses in restaurants, education in USA and India and has been serving the NRI community in North America for the last 3 decades. He functioned as Chairman & President for Federation of Indian Associations (FIA) and President of Telugu Association of North America (TANA) and several other community positions. He is also serving the Telugu community as Chairman- Telugu Times, the Telugu news paper published from San Francisco for the last 13 years and as Chairman- Paatasala Inc running Telugu teaching facilities in 30 centres for 3 years in USA.
Jayaram hails from Mylavaram, Krishna district and is active in various community development activities in Krishna Dist and Andhra Pradesh. He has been serving Telugu Desam Party for the last 12 years with several activities in USA including coordinating Sri Chandra Babu Naidu's 10
city visit to USA as Head 'NRI TDP, USA.
