Recently a video footage showing Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah slapping a man at an event in Ballari went viral. Now the chief minister once again hits the headlines.
Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah bought a Silk saree which costs close to RS 1.08 lakh for his wife Parvathi. The CM shopped at the inauguration of the Karnataka silk industries corporation in Davanagere on Tuesday.
He was impressed by knowing about a water proof saree in the exhibition. Siddaramaiah asked for a litre of water and poured it on the saree to convince himself that it was truly waterproof and then finally he bought it by paying the hefty amount.
The orange saree he bought was from the latest threads of gold collection unveiled by the state government.
