Sikhs to celebrate Prakash Utsav Hyderabad, Jan 23 (INN): In connection with the ongoing 349th Prakash Utsav of 'Sri Guru Gobind Singhji, the holy birthday celebrations, of the 10th and last Sikh Guru and founder of Khalsa Panth, a ''Vishaal Deewan" (Mass Congregation) will be organised under the aegis of Prabhandak Committee Gurdwara Saheb Secunderabad at Key's High School Grounds, Secunderabad from 10.30 am to 3 pm on Sunday.
Prabhandak Committee, President S Baldev Singh Bagga and General Secretary S Avatar Singh said that in the 'Vishaal Deewan'' over 20,000 Sikh devotees and other community faiths from various parts of the state will converge at Key's High School, Secunderabad.
The event will be marked by the recitations of Gurbani Keertans (Holy Hymns) by the reputed Ragi Jathas (religious preachers) who are being specially invited from various parts of the country to render shabad keertans.
Reputed Ragi Jatha, Bhai Ravinder Singhji of Harmandir Sahib (Golden Temple), Amritsar, Bhai Harijit Singhji (Jalandhar, Punjab), Giani Harpal Singhji (Fatehgarh Sahib) and other reputed Ragi Jathas will recite shabad keertans (holy hymns and Kathas and throw light on the teachings of Sikh Gurus.
After the culmination of the congregation Guru Ka Langar (free community kitchen) will be served to the devotees.
