Dattatraya seeks Rs. 2400 Cr for SCR Hyderabad, Feb 11 (INN): Union Labour Minister Bandaru Dattatraya on Thursday urged the Central Government to allocate Rs. 2,400 Crore for South Central Railway in the next Railway Budget.
Dattaraya called on Union Railways Minister Suresh Prabhu at New Delhi on Thursday and appealed him to allocate sufficient budget for SCR. He said besides granting required funds for completion of pending railway projects in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, the Centre should sanction new projects for the Telugu States in the next budget.
He also sought Rs. 200 crore for second phase of MMTS and proposed extension of its services upto Yadadari and Shankarpally.
