Vizag Enters List of Top 10 Indian Cities
Prime Minister Narendra Modi's nationwide 'Clean India campaign' Swachh Bharat Abhiyan is very well received by the people of Vizag.
Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh emerged as top 5 th cleanest city in India. Mysuru in Karnataka, Chandigarh and Tiruchirapalli in Tamil Nadu are in the top three list.
The survey assessed the status of disposal of sewage from septik tanks, waste water treatment, drinking water quality, surface quality of water bodies, and mortality due to water-borne diseases.
