Rechristen TDP as DDP in Telanagana: KTR
Continuing his tirade against TDP, Panchayati Raj and IT minister K Taraka Rama Rao (KTR) advised to rename TDP as DDP in Telangana state. KTR addressing media announced that Telugu Desam Party is not at all related to Telangana state. He also advised party leadership to rename TDP as DDP(Deposit Dakkinchukoleni Party).
KTR said TDP has been losing its deposits in all the elections in Telangana State and it has become DDP. He asked party leadership to rechristen the party as DDP as its failing to get deposits.
KTR also took to micro-blogging site Twitter to congratulate his colleague Harish Rao and party's leadership who contributed in winning in the by-election.
The Minister tweeted, 'TRS juggernaut continues to roll unabated. Thumping majority of over 50K in Narayankhed. Congrats to @trsharish & Medak TRS leadership team.'
In the Narayankhed Assembly by election TRS contestant Bhoopalreddy won with landslide margin of 53625 votes. Congress party candidate has managed to get deposits but TDP lost its deposit.
