Four YSRCP MLAs meet Naidu to join TDP Vijayawada, Feb 22 (INN): Four MLAs of YSR Congress Party met Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and TDP supremo Nara Chandrababu Naidu on Monday evening and reportedly conveyed their decision to join the Telugu Desam Party.
Hours after resigning from the post of Chairman of Public Accounts Committee of AP Assembly, YSRCP MLA Bhuma Nagi Reddy met Naidu and announced his decision to switch loyalty to the TDP. He was accompanied with his daughter and Allagadda MLA Akhila Priya.
Two more MLAs, C. Adinarayana Reddy representing Jammalamadugu in Kadapa and Jaleel Khan of Vijayawada West, also met the Chief Minister.
All four MLAs are likely to formally join the TDP in the next few days.
