TS Govt to fill 1,000 vacancies in Agriculture Dept
Hyderabad, Feb 27 (INN): Agriculture Minister Pocharam Srinivas Reddy on Saturday said the Telangana Government would soon fill 1,000 vacancies in the Agriculture Department.
Speaking at a function in Nirmal of Adilabad district, the minister said during the financial 2016-17, farmers belonging to SC and ST communities would be given 100% subsidy on Poly House. He said that the State Government has sanctioned Rs. 1,000 crore for Drip Irrigation. He said that the government was promoting drip irrigation at a large scale and sprinkles were being supplied at 90% subsidy.
Stating that the State Government was committed towards development of farmers and agriculture sector, he said about 1,000 vacancies in the agriculture department would be filled soon.
