'Freedom 251' Decides to Refund Money Ringing Bells, the makers of the controversial "Freedom 251" smartphone, has decided to payback the amount to customers they received via first day bookings. The company has announced that it will be going to pay back the amount it generated from the first 30,000 pre-booking orders on the first day of the sale this month.
Company's MD Mohit has claimed that the money of all 30,000 customers has been refunded and the company will now accept cash on delivery only. Ringing Bells had received 30,000 orders on the first day and the rest of the customers for first 2.5 million handsets were to be selected on first-come-first-served basis .
Earlier on Friday, Ringing Bells president said that smartphone customers will be required to make payment only when the smartphone is delivered to them.The company said that first set of phones will be delivered by June 30 to all the customers.
