AP Speaker reviews arrangements for budget session
Hyderabad, March 3 (INN): Andhra Pradesh State Legislative Assembly Speaker Dr. Kodela Sivaprasad Rao on Thursday reviewed the arrangements for the conduct of budget session commencing from March 5.
Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan will address the joint session at 3 PM on March 5. Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu will present the State's annual budget for 2016-17 on March 10. The session is likely to last for 18 days. The Speaker has requested all parties to cooperate in smooth conduct of the budget session.
Meanwhile, AP Legislative Council Chairman Dr. A. Chakrapani reviewed with the police officials on the security arrangements to be made for the budget session. He issued suitable instructions to the concerned on vehicle parking, installation of CCTVs, thorough verification of different passes etc., He has also suggested for smooth conducting of this session so as to not to cause any inconvenience to the members.
The meeting was attended by Additional DGP R P Takur, DIG Ramakrishna, Secretary K. Satyanarayana Rao and other senior police officials.
