Over 23,000 candidates abstain from inter exams Hyderabad, March 3 (INN): Nearly 94.56% of registered candidates appeared for the Second Language Paper-II of the Intermediate Public Examinations held across Telangana State on Thursday.
According to Board of Intermediate Education, of 425,743 registered candidates, 402,577 candidates appeared for the exams while 23,166 (5.44%) abstained from it. Two cases of malpractice have been booked in different centres. The Board has sent Observers to Nalgonda, Warangal, Medak and Ranga Reddy districts. The examinations were conducted peacefully without any untoward incident, said Board Secretary Dr. A. Ashok.
