TS MLA Ramreddy Venkat Reddy Passes Away Senior Congress leader and MLA from Paleru in Khammam district, Ram Reddy Venkat Reddy is no more. Ramreddy Venkat Reddy passed away on Friday after protracted illness, said to be lung cancer, at a private hospital in Hydearabad. He was 72 and is survived by wife and four daughters.
Venkat Reddy was being treated in the ICU at KIMS hospital in Hyderabad for quite sometime. The end came on Friday, when he suffered a massive cardiac stroke. Venkat Reddy was one of the senior congress leader and he was elected to the Assembly for five times. Venkat Reddy served as Minister for Horticulture in the cabinet of N Kiran Kumar Reddy and was also a member of YS Rajasekhar Reddy cabinet
In last year Venkat Reddy has been appointed chairman of the Telangana Public Accounts Committee (PAC).Venkat Reddy's brother Ramreddy Damodar Reddy, who represented Tungaturthy constituency in Nalgonda district was also a former minister
His mortal remains were shifted to his residence in the MLAs Colony. The last rites will be performed at Patilingala village of Kamepalli mandal on Saturday afternoon.Several leaders from the state pay their last respects as soon as the word spread about his demise. Chief mInsiter KCR, Telangana PCC president N. Uttam Kumar Reddy, working President Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, Congress Legislature Party leader K. Jana Reddy condoled the death.
