Campaign ends for Warangal, Khammam civic polls
Hyderabad, March 4 (INN): The election campaign for elections to Greater Warangal Municipal Corporation, Khammam Municipal Corporation and Achampet Nagar Panchayat came to an end on Friday evening. Elections for these civic bodies will be held on March 6.
The State Election Commission has made elaborate arrangements for the civic polls. Polling will be held for 58 wards in Greater Warangal, 50 wards in Khammam and 20 seats in Achampet Nagar Panchayat. All major parties - TRS, Congress, TDP, BJP and the Left have done intense campaign to win the civic polls.
The results of these civic polls will be declared on March 9
