AP Budget session to last till March 30
Hyderabad, March 5 (INN): The budget session of Andhra Pradesh State Legislative Assembly, which began here on Saturday, will be held for 16 days.
The decision was taken during the meeting of Business Advisory Committee which met here today. The General Budget for 2016-17 and Agriculture Budget would be presented on March 10. Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will give his reply on Motion of Thanks to Address by Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan on March 9.
Speaking to media persons after the BAC meeting, Government Chief Whip K. Srinivasulu said that adjournment motions would be allowed only after Question and Zero Hours.
The BAC meeting was also attended by YSRCP MLAs J. Nehru and Srikanth Reddy. The members proposed debates on nearly 25 different issues. They also advised that the budget session should be conducted for 40 days.
