On Women's Day, Lady MP Rides Harley To Parliament International Women's Day was celebrated with high spirits across the nation and politicians like Sonia Gandhi and Hema Malini delivered impressive speeches at parliament. But a woman MP from Bihar did unexpected and she was the show stealer at Parliament today.
Ranjeet Ranjan was one of the best highlights of International Women's Day as she rode in on black and orange Harley Davidson bike to Parliament. Media men surprised to see the MP coming on Bike wearing helmet and sunglasses and competed to capture the pics of MP.
She rode around the Parliament complex before entering the House to take part in day's proceedings. Ranjeet who was a mother of two spoke to media and said she does not allow even her husband to touch the bike, which she had purchased from her own earnings.
Ranjan represents Bihar in the Lok Sabha and is known for her aggressive speeches. She is married to Pappu Yadav, who is also an MP from Bihar. Ranjan believes that reservation in Lok Sabha was not the solution but part of a larger effort needed to empower women.
