YSRCP MLAs suspended from A.P. Assembly All MLA'S of YSR Congress, excluding Opposition leader Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, were suspended from Andhra Pradesh Assembly after they staged protest to press for CBI inquiry in alleged AP Capital Area land scam, stalling proceedings in the House.
Invoking Rule 329 of the AP legislative assembly rules and procedures, Speaker Kodela Sivaprasad suspended all YSRCP MLAs till the end of the day's proceedings on Wednesday.
The YSRCP MLAs insisted on a CBI probe into the alleged scam, which was rejected by Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. As the members from opposition refused to calm down Yanamala Ramakrishnudu moved a resolution under Rule No 329, which was adopted by voice vote.
Earlier, YS Jagan made a scathing attack on the ruling TDP and demanded a probe into the land scam. YS Jagan Mohan Reddy said the land deals in the capital region of Amaravati were worse than insider trading.
