Congress identifies over 30 issues for budget session Hyderabad, March 9 (INN): The Congress Legislature Party has identified over 30 issues to be raised during the budget session of Telangana State Legislative Assembly and Council beginning from Thursday.
The CLP, which met here on Wednesday, also finalised the strategy to be adopted during the budget session.
The Congress would primarily focus on prevailing drought situation in the State, power purchase agreement with Chattisgarh, 4000 MW power project through NTPC, crop loan waiver, losses to cotton farmers, drinking water crisis, irrigation projects, sale of government land in Hyderabad, Ranga Reddy and other districts, fee-reimbursement due and jobs for unemployed youth.
The meeting, which lasted for over four hours, was attended by Leaders of Opposition K. Jana Reddy (Assembly) and Mohammed Ali Shabbir (Council), TPCC Working President Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, Dr. J. Geetha Reddy, D.K. Aruna, T.Rammohan Reddy, A. Sampath Kumar, Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy, Vamshi Chandra Reddy and other legislators.
