Key Highlights of Andhra Pradesh E-budget The 2016-17 budget for Andhra Pradesh state with an outlay of Rs1,35,688 has been introduced in the Assembly on Thursday by finance minister yanamala Rama Krishnudu. Of the total budget outlay, Rs49,134 is in planned expenditure segment while Rs86,584 is non-planned expenditure
For the first time AP govt opts to go for paperless budget and the budget details were provided in electronic form. All the members of the house were given tabs through which they can access the budget. For the convenience of the members, the budget is provided in both Telugu and English.
A total of 1500 crore has been allotted for Amaravati construction and for Kapu corporation 1000 crores were given.

Farmers' loan waiver, Rs3,512 crore
Irrigation Rs7,300 crore
School education Rs17,502 crore
Agriculture Rs5,838 crore
Higher education Rs2,548 crore
Health Rs2,233 crore
For construction of drainage system at Vijayawada and Guntur Rs1,000 crore have been allocated.
