TS Govt to modernise check-posts
Hyderabad, March 12 (INN): Commercial Taxes Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav on Saturday informed that the Telangana Government was considering the proposal to establish additional integrated check posts and to modernise existing check posts.
Replying to question raised by MLA Hanmanth Shinde during Question Hour in Legislative Assembly, the minister said two integrated check posts were already functioning. He said that the government has sanctioned an amount of Rs. 12.03 crore for improvisation of existing check posts. The quantum of funds for setting up new integrated check posts and modernisation would be finalised depending on the nature of check posts, infrastructure and the modalities of implementation. He said the proposed works would be completed in nearly one year.
