Aviation Show in Begumpet from Wednesday


 
Hyderabad, March 12 (INN): With three days to go for biggest Civil Aviation Show - India Aviation 2016, Anil Srivastava, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India, took the review of arrangements today here in city at the venue Begumpet Airport.

Anil Srivastava took review of various arrangements and progress. He has interacted with officials of related departments of Police, CSF, Fire etc. He took round of the venue, reviewed arrangements for CEOs Forum, Inauguration Venue, Conference area, Media Centre etc. He also took stock of situation, suggested improvements for the smooth conduct of the show

The five day biennial civil aviation show will be kicked off on 16th. It will be formally inaugurated by President of India Pranab Mukherjee in the presence of Governor E.S. Lakshmi Narsimhan, Chief Ministers K. Chandrashekar Rao (Telangana) and Nara Chandrababu Naidu (Andhra Pradesh) and Union Civil Aviation Minister P. Ashok Gajapathi Raju.

Theme of this edition is 'Indian Civil Aviation Secotr: Potential as global manufacturing MRO hub.

More than 200 major participants are expected to take part in the show. Leading Aircraft and Helicopter manufacturers like Boeing, Airbus, Textron, Embraer, Gulfstream, Dassault, Augusta Westland, Bell Helicopters, Russian Helicopters, Airbus Helicopters will also take part in the show. Some well known engine manufacturers- CFM, UTC, GE Aviation, Rolls Royce, Pratt & Whitney will showcase their products and expertise

Latest aircrafts will be displayed by various aircraft manufacturers and exhibitors.

Delegations led by Ministers and Senior Government Officials from more than 25 countries like USA, Canada, France Jamaica, Mauritius, Belgium, Germany, New Zealand, South Korea, Greece, Malaysia, UAE and other.

Flying display by Mark Jefferies from UK will be another highlight of the show. There will be a acrobatics show two times a day on all the five days. Unlike in the past this time four aircrafts will be involved in the show. Mark Jefferies and Tom Cassels, both multiple time British champions from the Global Stars aerobatic team will perform the acrobats. They have been performing aerobatics all over the world.

A global CEOs Forum will be held in conjunction with the show.

There will be an International conference on four different business sessions for India Aviation.

The Indian Aviation Show will also showcase 'Make in India Pavillion', which will give an insight to the international audience on the investment opportunities, policies of the government in the Civil Aviation Sector.

The first three days will be open to business visitors only. On the last two days on 19th and 20th, the show will be open to general public. An awareness session will be held for the public on the various aspects on civil aviation such as manufacturing, MROs, Safety, ATC, Ground Handling and career opportunities in those areas specialisation. A theme pavilion will showcase the important milestones of the civil aviation sector in India, its growth story and how it will emerge as the third largest civil aviation industry by 2020.
